Choosing a care home is rarely a decision anyone plans for. It usually arrives after a fall, a hospital stay, or a long stretch of quietly managing at home. We know how that feels — and our job is to make the next part easier.
MG Care Homes is family-run. Both of our homes are small enough that our nurses and carers know every resident by name, know how they take their tea, and know which chair by the window is theirs. Registered nurses are on site around the clock, and every resident has a care plan built with them and their family, then reviewed as things change.
We would always rather you came and saw it for yourself. Call in, have a cup of tea, meet the team and talk to the people who live here.

Long-term residential
A permanent home for people who need help with daily living — washing, dressing, meals, mobility — delivered with dignity and patience.
Respite & short stays
Planned or urgent short-term stays, whether a family carer needs a break or someone needs support after a spell in hospital.
Rehabilitation
Recovery-focused care after illness, surgery or a fall, working towards getting strength, confidence and independence back.
Palliative & end of life
Compassionate, pain-managed care in familiar surroundings, working closely with GPs and community nursing teams.
Support for families
Open visiting, honest conversations, and help navigating funding, assessments and the paperwork nobody explains properly.

Fees, funding & questions
The things families ask first
Care funding is confusing by design. We'll talk you through it plainly, and we'll never quote a fee before we understand what care is actually needed.
We accept privately funded residents, local authority placements and NHS Continuing Healthcare funding.
How much do your fees cost?
Fees depend on the home, the room and the level of nursing care required, so we quote after a free assessment rather than publishing a headline figure that turns out not to apply. Call us and we'll give you an honest range for your situation in the first conversation.
Do you accept local authority or NHS funding?
Yes. We accept privately funded residents, Kent County Council and other local authority placements, and NHS Continuing Healthcare funding. We can also point you towards benefits you may be entitled to, such as Attendance Allowance or NHS-funded Nursing Care.
Can I visit before deciding?
Please do — and more than once if it helps. You're welcome any day of the week, and you don't need a formal appointment, though a quick call ahead means the manager can be free to show you round properly.
Do you take respite or short-term stays?
Yes, both homes offer respite care, subject to availability. Short stays work well when a family carer needs a break, when someone is recovering after hospital, or as a way of trying a home before committing to a permanent move.
What are visiting arrangements for families?
We actively encourage families to be part of daily life here — join for a meal, take part in activities, or simply sit with your relative. We'll always tell you straight away if anything changes with your relative's health.
How are you rated by the CQC?
Both homes are registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission. You can read the full inspection reports for Little Court and Warwick Park on the CQC website.
