24-hour nursing
Registered nurses on duty day and night, supporting complex health needs, medication, wound care and long-term conditions.
Two family-run care homes offering 24-hour nursing, residential, respite and rehabilitation care for adults over 65 — one in the village of Speldhurst, one in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Choosing a care home is rarely a decision anyone plans for. It usually arrives after a fall, a hospital stay, or a long stretch of quietly managing at home. We know how that feels — and our job is to make the next part easier.
MG Care Homes is family-run. Both of our homes are small enough that our nurses and carers know every resident by name, know how they take their tea, and know which chair by the window is theirs. Registered nurses are on site around the clock, and every resident has a care plan built with them and their family, then reviewed as things change.
We would always rather you came and saw it for yourself. Call in, have a cup of tea, meet the team and talk to the people who live here.
From a few weeks of respite to long-term nursing care, both homes are registered to support adults aged 65 and over with a wide range of needs.

A permanent home for people who need help with daily living — washing, dressing, meals, mobility — delivered with dignity and patience.
Planned or urgent short-term stays, whether a family carer needs a break or someone needs support after a spell in hospital.
Recovery-focused care after illness, surgery or a fall, working towards getting strength, confidence and independence back.
Compassionate, pain-managed care in familiar surroundings, working closely with GPs and community nursing teams.
Open visiting, honest conversations, and help navigating funding, assessments and the paperwork nobody explains properly.
One in a village setting with gardens and countryside views, one an Edwardian house a short walk from Tunbridge Wells town centre. Both small, both ours.
Speldhurst
A warm, welcoming home for up to 32 residents, set in beautiful gardens with open countryside beyond. Days here move at a village pace — mornings in the conservatory, afternoons in the garden when the weather allows, and a kitchen that still cooks everything from scratch.
Tunbridge Wells
An Edwardian house of 28 beds with high ceilings, generous windows and a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. Comfortable bedrooms and modern communal spaces sit inside a building with real character — and family, friends and the Pantiles are all within easy reach.
No pressure, no sales process. Three straightforward steps, at whatever pace suits your family.
Call or send an enquiry and tell us what's happening. We'll be honest about whether we're the right home — and if we're not, we'll point you somewhere that is.
Visit either home, any day of the week. Meet the manager, see the rooms, stay for lunch. Bring whoever you need to bring.
One of our nurses assesses needs at home or in hospital, at no cost. We agree a care plan, sort the funding paperwork, and settle the move on your timing.

Care funding is confusing by design. We'll talk you through it plainly, and we'll never quote a fee before we understand what care is actually needed.
We accept privately funded residents, local authority placements and NHS Continuing Healthcare funding.
Call us, message us on WhatsApp, or fill in the form and we'll come back to you the same day wherever we can.
